I'm not sure which way to go on this one, the Supreme Court case set to open tomorrow on campaign finance, which would lift the restrictions on corporations advocating for candidates or positions in American elections.
On one hand, the First Amendment should protect speech, therefore giving a voice to anyone that wants to use it. On the other hand, I feel like this could tip the scales radically and usher in a new era of corporate domination, as if we weren't already in an era of unprecedented corporate influence. And you know who mostly benefits there ... Republicans. (Though not entirely of course.)
