At first, this seems like a nice idea. Using unmanned drones to take out pirates.
With more thought, this seems like a slippery slope. I could be wrong, but there will inevitably be a disagreement over where the drones can go, or a situation where drones will cross someone's airspace (a country we're not a war with, or warring in, mind you) and there will be some serious finger-pointing, rightfully so.
More on this later. But more than a little creepy I'd say.
